Pinch of Attitude is a community with openhearted contributors around the world together to share their experiences, what they’ve been through, and what they learned.
With thousands of readers daily, Pinch of Attitude reaches a large audience of motivated people who are actively seeking tips and techniques to heal, grow, and improve their lives.
You don’t have to be a best-selling author, an expert, or a blogger to share your knowledge and approach to dealing with life’s challenges. As long as you have an inspiring story to tell, I’d love to hear from you.
The article must be original and not previously published anywhere else, including your own site.

Writing Guidelines
- A minimum word count of 2,000.
- Link to at least 2 articles from Pinch of Attitude blog
- Share a specific story from your life, with personal details. Show us what you went through. Tell us what happened, who was there, what do you think caused this to happen, and how did you feel when it happened? And after it? It’s important to share your lessons and insights, but the article will be far more powerful if you also share how you came to learn them.
- Offer insights and practical tips to help readers overcome similar challenges. It doesn’t need to be a numbered list, but your story needs to build to a clear message/lesson for readers, something that might evoke an “Aha” moment for them.
- Choose a topic related to personal growth that isn’t gender-specific, and not related to parenting, religion, the law of attraction, productivity, blogging/running an online business, writing/publishing a book, coaching, being or becoming a psychiatrist or therapist, working as a motivational speaker, or money/entrepreneurship.
- Avoid referencing your blog, coaching practice, book, or speaking career in the body of the post. You may work in the personal development or mental health fields, but your post should be more about your shared humanity.
- Keep paragraphs to three sentences or fewer. Include a bio, seventy-five words or fewer, at the bottom of the post. You can include as many links as you’d like.
- Reserve self-promotion to your bio (as opposed to marketing a business, course, workshop, or service directly in the post). Please note that links in the body of the post may be removed.

What to Include in Your Bio?
Include a bio at the bottom of the article (no more than 60 words). You may include a link to your website and social channels there. Do not include references or links to any of your products, services or anything you may be affiliated on the body of the article.
No Plagiarism
If your article is found to be plagiarized in part or in full, it won’t be posted and any future posting requests from you will be declined. Please make sure to check your article for plagiarism before submitting it.
Please only submit an article that you have written—not an article from a staff writer at your website or a client that has hired you for PR or SEO purposes.
How to Submit
Send 3 topic ideas that you would like to write about via the contact form. Please do not send the articles. Once we agree on the topic, you may submit your article then.
When the article is accepted, please upload a photo of yourself at gravatar.com (if you’d like a photo to show next to your bio). Also, please include in your email the email address you linked to your Gravatar account.
A Few More Things to Keep in Mind
If your post is a good fit for the community at this time, you will receive a response within a week or two. If you don’t receive a response, please feel free to try again with a different post.
Your article may be edited for clarity, grammar, and overall style. If there are any major changes made, you will be asked to review and approve it first.
